IMPLEMENTATION ENGINEER

 

POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of Cybermaxx products and services for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Customer Success, to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation, meeting project deadlines, and delivering a high-quality implementation experience. Your primary focus will be to ensure client satisfaction and drive successful adoption of Cybermaxx solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES|RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation process for assigned customer projects, ensuring successful and timely execution.
  •  Collaborate with the Pre-Sales Engineer to understand client requirements and goals and follow a best-in-class implementation plan.
  •  Work closely with internal teams to provide input on product enhancements or customization requirements based on client needs.
  • Coordinate and conduct kickoff meetings with clients to set project expectations, define milestones, and establish project timelines.
  •  Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements documents, and status reports.  
  •  Assign tasks and responsibilities to internal teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  •  Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and proactively take corrective actions to mitigate issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
  •  Proactively identify and address insufficient or delinquent customer- provided information that impacts on time solution delivery.
  •  Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover post-implementation, providing necessary guidance and support.
  •  Gather client feedback and insights during the implementation process, and communicate valuable feedback to relevant teams for product and process improvements.
  •  Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to implementation management, and apply them to enhance the implementation process.

SKILLS| QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  •  3-5 years of experience as a member of an Implementation team or in a similar role, preferably in a software or technology company.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  •  Demonstrated ability to understand complex client requirements and translate them into actionable implementation plans.
  •  SIEM, SIEM operations, SIEM log ingestion, Log parsing for SIEM experience preferred.
  • Experience with Network Security/Firewalls preferred.
  • Linux, Azure, AWS exposure a plus, as is VMWare and HyperV
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address potential project risks or issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of CRM or enterprise software solutions is a plus.
